Apple’s New Mecca

Well, the outrage of the week is here again. This week it’s Apple’s new store in NYC, affectionately dubbed “Apple Mecca”. Of course this already has some people making threats like [url=http://www.news.com/5208-10784_3-0.html?forumID=1&threadID=16085&messageID=388442&start=-1]this guy.[/url]
Of course in the coming weeks or months Apple will probably make a statement explaining that they had no intention to cause offense to anyone.
And I know some brothers will be mad at me for saying so but, “Do we REALLY have a patent on black boxes?”. I mean, honestly, I believe that they were modeling it after the kaaba as much as the next guy. But I know plenty of guys with a little kaaba statue on their desks and kaaba pix on their walls. I don’t see any of them suing the manufacturers for insulting Islam.
We have brothers and sisters dying from too many bombs and too little bread across the world. Black boxes, by comparison, don’t bother me at all.
